Can I extend my child's day at preschool?

We offer many different program options to meet the needs of our families.  Our half day preschool program is from 9:00am-12:00pm.  Our full day program is from 9:00am-3:00pm.  We also offer extended care in the morning from 7:00am-9:00am and in the evening from 3:00pm-5:30pm.

Can I observe my child in class?

Due to Covid restritctions we are currently not allowing outside visitors into the school. Please see Sarah Warren for details.

What is your approach to discipline?

We believe in teaching children in a positive and caring environment. If a student demonstrates unacceptable behavior, we use a redirection method and remove the child from the situation.  Parents will always be notified of their child's behavior.  For ongoing issues, the teacher and director will work closely with the family to come up with new strategies to work with.

Does my child have to be potty trained?

No, not for our 2-3 year old classrooms. Children tend to learn best by watching their friends, and this applies to potty training. Therefore, we don't require that your child be potty trained in order to attend our youngest program.  Children must be completely potty trained (self sufficient and independent in the restroom) to enroll in our 3-4 year old and PreK programs.

Is St. Luke's nut free?

Yes. We are a peanut and tree nut free school and require all snacks and treats to be peanut and tree nut free.
