St. Luke's Preschool Week In Review: Dec. 5-10

December 13, 2016

Last week, students continued working hard on their Christmas projects. Students in the 3s learned all about reindeers. 4 year-olds were introduced to the alphabet, starting of course with the letter "Aa." Our letter-themed projects included angels and Advent wreaths. In Time To Grow, students learned about the letter "Ll" and made lasagna in cooking class, and lion masks. All students also worked hard on making their special Christmas gifts for parents!

With every project and activity, we continue to develop the students' fine and gross motor skills, as well as recognizing basic shapes and colors. As we near the end of the year, we will begin to review what we've learned so far this year, and prepare materials for conferences in January. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to discuss them with your child's teacher or Mrs. Cahill.
