St. Luke's March "4s Newsletter"
Your children continue to grow and blossom socially as we play many new fun games and activities! We are seeing lots of sharing, cooperating and using our words to solve conflicts. Fine motor skills are developing nicely, many of the children write their names on all their work. Continue encouraging this important skill at home.
Alphabet letters will continue for O, P, Q, & R. We will also begin our unit on Fairy Tales and concentrate on listening skills and developing language skills by retelling and even acting out some of these stories. This is a good time to concentrate on rhyming words. We also have a few St. Patrick's Day activities planned. This will be a fun and exciting month for your child!
Field Trip: Friday, March 4th we will visit Grand Glaize Library for a special story time!
Spring Break: Please note that school will be closed Monday, March 21st through Friday, March 25th for Spring Break. School will resume on Monday, March 28th. Enjoy!
Thanks: A special thanks to all the moms and dads who baked, planned and participated at the Valentine Party. The children really enoyed the wonderful snacks, crafts and games which took a lot of preparation. Thanks!
Summer School: Once again, we will be doing a summer school that will run from Tuesday, March 31st through Friday, June 10th from 9:00AM-11:30AM. We will begin the Tuesday after Memorial Day. It is only open to the first 10 children, so please let Mrs. Cahill know as soon as possible if you are interested. The price is $120 for two weeks.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!
