St. Luke's Nov. "Time To Grow Newsletter"
November will be a busy and exciting month! We will be making lots of projects just like the Pilgrims and Indians did. Of course, we will design and make our own Thanksgiving costumes for the feast!
THANKSGIVING FEAST & PROGRAM: We will culminate the month of November with our special Thanksgiving feast and performance. We will share fruit and muffins, and enjoy a feast with our parents just like the Indians and Pilgrims did on the first Thanksgiving! Parents are invited to come early on our special day. Parents are asked to come at 2:00 pm. The date of our special feast is: Tuesday, November 24th. Each child will be assigned to bring a piece of fruit for our salad. Please see Sue if you are unsure what your child has been assigned.
SHOW AND TELL: Have your child bring something that starts with the letter "J" this month for show and tell. Check the calendar for the date.
NO SCHOOL: School will be closed Wednesday, November 25th-Friday, November 27th for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We will resume our regular schedule on Monday, November 30th.
APPRECIATION: It is so appropriate as this Thanksgiving draws near to let you know how thankful we are for all your help and support. We especially appreciate all of you who help out on a daily basis and with field trips. The kids love it. Parent help and cooperation is what makes St. Luke's Preschool a neat place to be. Thank you to those who contributed to the Halloween Party/Field trip to the Pumpkin Patch. The girls had a lot of fun! Please know that every parent is welcome at the school parties, even if you didn't sign up to help!
Gobble, gobble and Happy Thanksgiving!
