This past week was a tremendously busy and eventful week for our students with school pictures and various field trips thrown into the mix. The 3s and 4s classes focused on Safety. The 4s had their week kicked off with a visit to the fire department on Monday, and on Tuesday, the West County EMS & Fire team visited the 3s classes. Fall is here and the children are settling in and making new friends. Ocotober will be filled with lots of activities and things to do. Our second week of school is officially done and we're looking forward to the 3rd week.
We continue to have some separation anxiety, but we are seeing lots of improvement already! Though tears were shed, they were quickly replaced by happy smiles. This week, our 3's and 4's worked on showing our school spirit. Students made handprint t-shirts, tambourines, and banners. The 3 year-olds marched in a parade around the playground.
