
St. Luke's Week In Review: Sept. 19-23
This week was all about the apple for our 3's and 4's. Projects included fun and simple desserts like easy applesauce in the 3's classes, and good old-fashioned apple twists in the 4's classes. We also talked about the color red and made apple-related art projects. A big THANK YOU to the classroom parents who helped peel apples and provided assistance with the yummy treats. St. Luke's Week In Review: September 12-16
Our second week of school is officially done and we're looking forward to the 3rd week.
We continue to have some separation anxiety, but we are seeing lots of improvement already! Though tears were shed, they were quickly replaced by happy smiles. This week, our 3's and 4's worked on showing our school spirit. Students made handprint t-shirts, tambourines, and banners. The 3 year-olds marched in a parade around the playground. St. Luke's Preschool in full swing
School is officially in session here at St. Luke's. We would like to welcome Miss Jenny, who joins us as a new teacher this year with our morning 4-year old class. We also welcome Miss Cheryl, who is substituting for Mrs. Cahill for the first two weeks while Mrs. Cahill attends to family matters.
